Kaddish (Simultaneous audio translation to English is available)
Shalom Aleihem wrote the story of Tevye the Milkman at the beginning of the last century, it became his most popular creation.
Even those unfamiliar with his work, know the famous Broadway musical "The Fiddler on the Roof."
Grigory Gorin, is one of Russia’s most interesting modern playwrights. "Kaddish". his brilliant stage adaptation is the story of the joys and sorrows of a small
Ukrainian village at the beginning of the last century. It was by no accident that "Atrium” chose this play. A story very close to the hearts of recent immigrants,
who have suffered the discrimination and humiliation of anti-Semitism. You don’t have to have lived through the many “pogrom’s” to be familiar with the feeling of
being a stranger in your own land, in the country where you were born and raised and who’s culture and language you still embrace as your own.
